Noel slams Doherty and Embrace

OASIS guitarist Noel Gallagher has hit out at ex-Libertine Pete Doherty, claiming that the Babyshambles singer wouldnét last a rehearsal with Oasis.

With the new Oasis album is due out next month, Noel mocked Pete for his drug habits, telling the singer, éItés like listen, son, you wouldnét last a rehearsal in Oasis.é

Speaking to Q magazine, he went on to say: éYouéd be injecting washing up liquid into your sphincter within half a hour.é

Clearly disgruntled with the music industry - or possibly trying to create headlines to plug his new album - the Oasis man went onto rant about Huddersfield indie boys Embrace.

Noel also believes that Chris Martin was wrong to pen Gravity for Embrace. éI donét know what heés doing writing songs for Embrace é but Chris can write a song.é

Oasisé new album Donét Believe The Truth is due to be released on May 30.
