Beverley Knight fever blow

BAD news for fans of sassy soul singer Beverley Knight - the critically-acclaimed star was due to play the Academy on Monday, November 15 but has since had to pull out due to unforeseen circumstances.

Apparently, a key member of Beverley's touring band has been struck with glandular fever, leaving no time for rehearsals.

But, no need to despair just yet, for I am told she has already re-scheduled the gigs for next year instead, with all tickets valid for the new dates or refundable. Now the Manchester show will be held at the Academy on Wednesday, April 13 instead.

In the meantime, her next single, Keep This Fire Burning, is due for release in the new year, so at least that will give the fans something to look forward to.

Beverley Knight now plays Academy 1 on Wednesday, April 13. Tickets are é17.50.
