Now Brown is in town

FOLLOWING news that Ian Brown is to play two gigs at Manchester Apollo in October, I now hear that he is also to make another appearance in the city.

The former Stone Roses frontman is to perform a free set at HMV, Market Street, on Monday, September 13.

The small gig coincides with the release of his fourth solo album, Solarized, and the singer will be signing copies after his performance.

The new LP and follow-up to last outing Music of the Spheres goes on sale at 9am on the day of release, and the first 125 fans buying the album will be treated to two wristbands, which will give them acess to the exclusive gig at 6pm that evening.

The wristbands will be issued on a strictly first come first served basis, there are no other methods of obtaining these wristbands, so fans are advised to arrive early at the stores to get their hands on them.
