Lenny cancels gig

BAD news for Lenny Kravitz fans, I'm afraid.

The US rock star has been forced to pull out of his Manchester gig following a severe case of laryngitis.

The singer had been due to perform a selection of his greatest hits at the Carling Apollo on July 8, as part of his European-wide Baptism tour.

However, after being struck ill this week, he missed gigs in Paris and Cologne - which have been rescheduled to July, clashing with his UK dates.

But not all hope is lost. Apparently, there is still a chance that his Manchester show might be rescheduled.

"I was really looking forward to performing outside of London," says Lenny. "I'm sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this might cause any of my fans. I hope to return later this year."
