AMERICAN hip-hop star Mary J Blige has booked a date at the Manchester Evening News Arena - with a legendary soul diva as her support.

Mary J will have the woman she has called her inspiration, Chaka Khan, as her guest for the UK tour, which starts at the Arena on Monday, June 14.

Multi-platinum selling and award-winning singer Mary J last performed in the UK in 2002, and is returning to perform songs from her latest album, Love & Life.
