The Cuisine's Not Dead, say society

IT COULD be a coincidence that National Vegetarian Week and Morrissey's 48th birthday overlap today but the Vegetarian Society has used it to its advantage.

The organisation is to release a tribute to the famous Smiths album The Queen is Dead, calling it The Cuisine's Not Dead. The project aims to raise awareness of vegetarianism and the organisation hopes to get the great Mozza involved.

Morrissey has been veggie since the age of 11 and has spoken out about vegetarianism on many occasions. Liz O'Neill of the Vegetarian Society said: "Going vegetarian is a positive choice for your health, for the environment and for animals."
