Peter Gabriel to rock the Arena

ROCK Legend Peter Gabriel will play the Manchester Evening News Arena in May - his first show in the city for 10 years.

He will perform songs from his latest album, Up, as well as classics like Red Rain and Sledgehammer - still the most played video of all time on MTV.

The May 18 date promises to be a musical and visual treat. Expect Gabriel to be suspended upside down and trapped inside a giant inflatable ball during the show.

The former Genesis singer has racked up an impressive 25m album sales in a career spanning over 20 years.

Up - Gabriel's first album in almost a decade - shows the star continuing to experiment and push musical boundaries.

Tickets are é35 and go on sale at 9am on Monday, January 20. The ticket hotline is 0870 7355000.
