Race is on for tickets to Darius show

TEENAGE hearts were racing as tickets went on sale to see Darius in Manchester.

Ticket hotlines were set to be jammed as youngsters battled it out to reserve their seat at the Apollo where he will be playing for one night only on May 17.

Since his first appearance on our TV screens on Popstars, then Pop Idol, his career has gone from strength to strength.

After hitting the number one spot with Colourblind, his second single Rushes made it into the top five.

Darius will perform songs from his top ten debut album, Dive In.

Tickets went on sale at 9am on Thursday, December 12. The 24-hour hotline is 0870 735 5000.

Darius will be at the Apollo on Monday, March 17.
