MIF: Cosmolitan gathering at MMU

A CELEBRATION of original theatre and live art by up-and-coming graduate talent opens on Monday.

Groups from Manchester Metropolitan University and Salford are joined by students from Dartington. Leeds, York, Wales, Serbia, Portugal and Germany for the Manchester International Student Theatre Festival - a week of first-time performances, discussions, social events and workshops.

Organised by students from MMU Cheshire's Department of Contemporary Arts, the events take place at the Greenroom and Zion Arts Centre and runs until July 8.
