Royal Air Force Town Hall Show

This event will provide an excellent opportunity for you, your friends and family to get a real taste of Air Force life by meeting service personnel, seeing examples of the latest military equipment and taking part in a wide range of activities. 

The main features of the show are:

- Typhoon Combat Aircraft.

- Chinook Helicopter.

- WWII Spitfire Facsimile Aircraft.

- Royal Air Force Regiment display providing insight into the RAF’s own soldiers, through their multi-media interactive display and state of the art infantry rifle range simulator.

- Climbing walls.

- RAF chef demonstrating cooking skills and talking about healthy eating in the RAF.

- Displays from Royal Air Force specialists including Tactical Supply Wing, 90 Support Unit, RAF Presentation Team and RAF Reserves.

- Royal Navy and Army displays.

- The opportunity to talk first hand with Service personnel about the jobs they do and the life they lead as well as current career opportunities.

As part of the RAF Manchester Town Show, the Royal Air Force Presentation Team will give a formal presentation in the Great Hall at Manchester Town Hall, on Monday 24 May 2010 at 12:00 and 19:00.  

The presentation will provide an opportunity for you to learn more about the Royal Air Force, its people and capabilities.  There will also be ample opportunities to ask questions of the Team.
