Must see: Bad Company
Keep a band going for over 35 years, and chances are you’ll have chalked up a cast list of former members longer than your current roster. Such is true for Bad Company, an American rock supergroup with a distinctive blues vocalist created by members of Free, Mott The Hoople and King Crimson (sadly missed Boz Burrell).
Original members Paul Rogers (who has more recently fronted Queen), Mick Ralphs and Simon Kirke remain, and to celebrate that fact, they have finally allowed themselves a live reunion following a one-off taster gig back in 2008 – 30 years after their last UK tour.
But don’t expect a rusty performance at the MEN Arena tonight for the band’s set of classics – such as Can’t Get Enough, Good Lovin’ Gone Bad, Shooting Star and Feel Like Makin’ Love – because they’ve all kept their hand in down the years. Even if it wasn’t with each other.
MEN Arena - April 2, 2010 - £34.50.
