Luke Temple of Lost And Found Luke Temple of Lost And Found

IF the opening of FAC251 with sets from Hooky, Mani and Rowetta isn’t your thing (and why not?!), there is plenty of other good stuff happening in town this weekend. Here’s our top three:

1) HomoElectric

Remixer/extreme audio redecorator Duke Dumont hits town tonight to play the first Homo party of the year. Here’s hoping he drops his mind-bending Mystery Jets / Bats For Lashes edits.
The London-based knob twiddler will be joined at Legends by Dalston’s Disco Bloodbath alongside local support from Eliott Doobs (Naive Melody), Rod Connolly (Bollox) and residents Will Tramp and Jamie Bull.

2) Lost & Found Weekender

The popular live/club night from Luke Temple is taking over the Ruby Lounge for two nights this weekend. Before they play host to The Drums, Surfer Blood and The Heartbreaks tomorrow night, the club will be curating a dance off special tonight, featuring spinning talent from some of town’s top DJs. Pick of the bunch? The Juicy crew, who’ll be showcasing their utterly dope 90s hip hop selection.

3) Maccabees @ Pogo

Rock-based upstarts The Maccabees (whose non-hit No Kind Words was one of 2009’s lost indie classics) will be trading their guitars for a stint on the ones and twos at a special Pogo tomorrow night. The Jabez Clegg session is in addition to the club’s regular Joshua Brooks night.
