Enjoy New Year's Eve at Barbirolli
ADVERTORIAL
MANCHESTER'S beautiful people can bring in the new year in style at the city centre’s latest must go to bar – Barbirolli.
The stunning new bar in Barbirolli Square, Lower Mosley Street, is opening its doors early to give Mancunians a New Year’s Eve they’ll never forget.
For just £10 party people can enjoy a champagne reception and hit the dance floor to the tunes of live band Groovy Revolution.
And for just £29.95 they can indulge themselves with a sumptuous three course meal.
Barbirolli is the brainchild of Barry Hogan and Pete Petrondas, famed for running live music venues in the region.
It has opened just in time for New Year and offers a unique venue for the city’s discerning diners and music lovers.
Acoustic live sessions
A £1 million refurbishment of the venue (at the side of Bridgewater Hall) has transformed it into a luxurious cocktail lounge with booth dining and a grill menu so Mancunians can while their time away in opulence.
With two bars and a stage for live music, Barbirolli aims to attract some of the best live acts including Sister Sledge and Micha Paris in the months to come.
It will be hosting regular ‘Funky Fridays’ with the Barbirolli band playing from 5pm to 9pm and ‘Swing Sundays’. There’s music from all genres including jazz, blues, soul and acoustic live sessions.
And with capacity for nearly 500 revellers, Barirolli is aiming for a mellow vibe that the city has been waiting for. Summed up by Barry, it will be the love child of Ronnie Scotts.
Now Mancunians can get a taste of what will be in store with New Year’s Eve at Barbirolli.
