New Year’s Eve Gala

A very special red carpet welcome heralds an evening of glitz and glamour at our New Year’s Eve Gala. Come dressed to impress and soak up the party atmosphere in the foyers with our informal and magical pre-concert entertainment. Enter the hall along the glitzy red carpet and be entertained in the foyers by a wonderful juggler, the magical Natural Theatre Company and good time songs by Side by Side Productions. Arrive early and enjoy one of our delicious dining options. 

The Gala Concert itself is perfect for a glamorous New Year’s Eve, with a fabulous musical extravaganza of Italian opera favourites including Verdi, Rossini and Puccini.  A special addition to this year’s concert is a Last Night of the Proms finale, with Fantasia on British Sea Songs, Rule, Britannia, Jerusalem and Pomp & Circumstance March No.1.  Don't miss the soprano Rebecca Bottone, star of Rufus Wainwright's opera Prima Donna.

New Year’s Day Viennese Gala

Join us on New Year’s Day for an afternoon of Viennese delights for all the family, with waltzes, polkas and songs in the company of talented soprano Natalya Romaniw and renowned Hungarian conductor Gábor Tákacs-Nagy.

On New Year’s Day, The Midland Hotel is offering Camerata New Year concert ticket holders afternoon tea in The Octagon at a discounted price of £15 per person. And if you’re in the mood for bubbles and fizz, you can upgrade to include a glass of champagne for £20 per person. The perfect way to mark the start of a new year!
