After almost three years in the limelight, the Withy Grove venue has made a name for itself as one of the city’s most fun and unique nights out.

The Birdcage is now taking bookings for the events taking place throughout the year and that includes the Christmas and New Year parties.

Christmas spectacular

One of the hottest acts to appear at The Birdcage is The Dream Men, the male strippers with class. To cope with demand, an extra Manchester date has been added to their tour.

Those who want to catch the boys’ last Manchester show of the year, which takes place on Sunday December 6, 2009, need to book quick.
As always, the men are guaranteed to reveal the full monty.

Those at The Birdcage do like a party, and they believe it takes a lot of preparation. But don’t despair, let the experts do it all for you, book your Christmas party now and then all you need to do is decide what to wear.

The Birdcage’s Christmas spectacular, Christmas with the Stars, begins on Monday December 7, 2009 and takes place every Monday and Thursday night until Monday, December 21, 2009.

The tribute acts will return throughout December for a host of dinner shows too.

Gordon Hendricks as Elvis is back on Sunday December 13, while the stylish Rat Pack is Back returns on Sunday December 20, so why not celebrate the season with a champagne reception, a four-course meal and a fabulous tribute act?

Taking place every Friday and Saturday is the Birdcage’s great drag cabaret shows. These festive treats are followed by a disco that lasts until 2am.

And once you’ve recovered from Christmas, you can enjoy the Boxing Day Spectacular on December 26. New Year’s Eve is always going to be a big one, so to take the stress out of the planning, book in for the Birdcage’s Masquerade Ball and receive a free mask.
