Chance to show your Conference Pride
I’M sure it hasn’t escaped your notice that we’re in the middle of political party conference season at the moment.
And following Gordon Brown’s impassioned (and some would say last-ditch) attempt to win over voters ahead of the general election, it will be the turn of the Conservative Party next, who are setting up camp in Manchester.
And in a bid to engender support from the city’s gay community, they’ll be holding Conference Pride on Tuesday, October 6.
The first major gay event open to the wider public to be hosted by the three main political parties will see Village regular and soulstress Angie Brown performing live.
With cocktails promised on arrival, as well as a coterie of local celebrities attending, an auction supported by Harvey Nichols, Crombie and others – this bash at Spirit should be one for the diary.
To be in with a chance of winning five tickets to Conference Pride simply e-mail eugene.keane@conservatives.com your contact. The draw will end on Friday, October 2 at 6pm.
Tickets are also available to buy at Spirit, Taurus or www.conservatives.com/conference.
