Blooms in the air

HURRAH! The sun has put its hat on... just in time too, as the RHS Flower Show celebrates its 10th anniversary at Tatton Park this week.

To honour a decade of blooming good garden designs, the RHS has organised some pretty special displays.

This year, there's a feast for the eyes, ears and palette, with local producers, artists, floral designers and growers on hand. Even schools have got in on the action.

If you can't get to Tatton, there's still an opportunity to get in the Tatton spirit with Manchester's horticultural highlight: the potted pod.

Harvey Nichols has turned a pod on the big wheel in Manchester's Exchange Square into a garden in the sky you can ride until the RHS Flower Show closes on July 27.
