COME dine at Linen on September 4 and enjoy a special evening of vegetarian food in the stylish surroundings of Manchester 235.

This one-off seven-course vegetarian menu aims to please taste buds and aims to change attitudes towards vegetarian food for life.

On the evening of September 4, you can wet your appetite upon arrival with Linen’s special canapés – marrow and rhubarb tartlets with orange mayonnaise and shiitake wontons with green chilli and shisu dipping sauce.

Starting the meal with roast yellow tomato soup garnished with peanut yogurt, the menu follows nicely onto goats cheese rolled in wildflower honey sesame seeds, chilli, fresh mango and lemon thyme sauce.

The next course will be pea and mint tavioli with a pea veloute.

Following that, a delightful wasabi bavois with roasted watermelon and lemon grass, whilst the final savoury dish will be ricotta cheese strudel in port wine sauce with fine beans, garlic and tomato.

For dessert guests will indulge in strawberry and fresh fig brulee with lemon shortbread and to round off the menu; chocolate truffles filled with black cherry and kirsch.

Foodies are advised to book early to avoid disappointment as spaces are limited.
