A meander through the Gay Village on any given night is bound to give you an idea of how vibrant a hub Canal St really has become in recent years.

With thousands of new students moving to Manchester every year, the gay community expands in vast quantities on an annual basis, so for all those new faces to welcome to Manchester’s fast growing gay scene, what better way to reach the masses than by setting up a Facebook page!

In association with canal-st.co.uk and Taurus Bar, the Facebook page gained 500 friends just 45 hours after its creation, and now with over 1500 fans, the page has grown faster than any other Village internet site.  

Packed full of information on bars and events, the page serves as a fan base accompaniment to Canal-St.co.uk. With Gay Pride weekend just round the corner, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for extra events and info!
