Rosé tinted glasses at All Bar One's wine festival!
NOTHING hits the spot more on those balmy Manchester evenings than a perfectly chilled glass of rosé, the glass dripping with condensation as the sun beats down on our sunburnt heads.
Granted, much of that is a hyperbolic fantasy given the current state of the weather, but for those with the ability to think wishful, heatwave thoughts, from now until the end of August, King Street’s All Bar One is hosting their very own rosé wine festival, with a unique assortment of wines ranging from European classics to exotic Tasmanian fares.
Charity Conscious
Initially launched earlier this month with a champagne reception hosted by Angela Mount (whose infamy entails having insured her taste buds for £10 million), the event also invites you to ‘Drink Pink’ and support Mount’s breast cancer charity, ABC. For every drink sold during the event, All Bar One will generously contribute a donation to the cause.
Fizz Sensation
Each wine is available by the glass or bottle, starting at a very reasonable £2.95 for a glass of juicy Australian Shiraz or a bone dry Italian Merlot. Or, if you care to sample one of the pricier numbers, the Reserve de Sours from Bordeaux is a fizz sensation, bursting with light bubbles and an explosive berry bouquet at £4.45 a glass.
A delectable, and affordable, alternative to champagne if ever we tasted one!
All wines are limited edition and available while stocks last. For more information, visit www.allbarone.co.uk .
