Big Weekend line-up revealed

Kelly to headline Manchester Pride's Big Weekend

MANCHESTER Pride’s Big Weekend line-up has been revealed with Destiny’s Child star and Grammy award-winning solo R&B diva, Kelly Rowland headlining the celebrations next month.
 
Rowland will be headlining the Sunday, performing alongside electro glamster Frankmusik and Manchester’s eclectic indie-fav’s Kid British.

'80s Hit Factory staple Bananarama will headline the Friday of the four-day event with Alphabeat also providing a DJ set. Blackpool’s Little Boots and Freemasons take on Saturday and Peter Andre will be providing the send off on the Monday.

Jackie Crozier, festival manager of Manchester Pride, says: "We’ve got a terrific line-up this year. It’s become something of a tradition that we open the main stage with an '80s favourite on the Friday night – and they don’t really come any bigger than Bananarama.

"Kelly Rowland is obviously going to be a big draw on the Sunday night... I really think we’ve got something for everyone.”
