MFDF 2009: Award nominees announced
THE nominations for 2009's Manchester Food And Drink Festival awards have been announced at the official media launch, hosted by sponsor City Inn.
This year's extravaganza runs from October 1 to 12 and promises a plethora of celebrity chefs (including Clarissa Dickson Wright and Michael Caines), plus the following events: Festival Fine Food Village; Regional Producers And Fine Food Market; Festival Chef Demonstration Theatre; Albert Square Festival Finale Pavilion; MFDF Independent And Local Wine Festival: Whiskey Festival; Bavarian Beer Oktober Fest;
Rounding off proceedings, the auspicous MFDF Gala Dinner And Awards will be held at the Palace Hotel.

EXPERIENCE IN FOOD AND ATMPOSHERE. HOPE IT DOES WELL. NOT SURE ABOUT LOCH FYNE IN DIDSBURY. THE ONLY ONE I GO TO IS IN KNUTSFORD AND THE FOOD SERVICE AND THE ACTUAL RESTAURANT IS WONDERFUL
I would look at three of the restaurants chosen being distinctly average. The french i would not go near due to it being extortionate in price therefore not accessible for mere mortals li…
