Doves to headline Live from City

TO celebrate the launch of the new Manchester City home shirt for the 09/10 season, Umbro and Manchester City Football Club are hosting ‘Live from City’.

'Live from City' will showcase some of Manchester's finest music talent with Doves headlining the exclusive event in the shadow of the City of Manchester Stadium.

Other acts include a DJ set from Hacienda legend Mike Pickering and the rising talents of Twisted Wheel, Kid British and The Answering Machine.

Also joining them will be young musical talent from Manchester City’s Kickz programme, which offers youths from 12-18 years the chance to be part of something positive. And of course, no City gig would be complete without the MCFC Big Band.

This event takes place Friday, July 17 from 6pm, City of Manchester Stadium, SportCity.
