Feel Good for free in Rochdale

The Bluetones

BRITPOP survivors The Bluetones will headline the free Rochdale Feel Good Festival 2009.

The band will be performing on the main outdoor stage on Saturday, July 11, as part of the two-day celebration of food, culture and music entertainment which kicks off on Friday.

Other names already on the line-up include Mojo mag lauded folk-rockers ‘Babel’, The Travelling Band (Winners of the Glastonbury New Talent competition 2008) and Liverpool’s NME tipped Wave Machines. XFM DJ and Inspiral Carpeter, Clint Boon will be compering the main outdoor stage and DJ'ing between acts.

Amidst the racket, celebrity TV chefs Aldo Zilli and Aazam Ahmad will be hosting live cooking demonstrations throughout the festival which includes a quality outdoor food market.

Cyberstein Robots will also be bringing the Titan Robot Show to the Rochdale Feel Good Festival on Saturday. Titan is an imposing 8ft robot that enjoys nothing more than entertaining people with his dance moves.
