THE undead raising money for charity? Well, someone's got to do it.

On July 12, a Zombie Walk will be taking place in the city centre to raise money for Cancer Research, Cash For Kids, Christies and Children In Need.

And if that's not reason enough to cover yourself with fake blood, they'll also be trying to set a new world record. To make the walk official, over 1277 zombies will have to register at the Printworks from 6pm, before the walk starts at 7pm.

A £2 charity donation is optional and there'll be a booth to buy tickets for a special screening of a new zombie film, while parts of the walk will be filmed to use as footage for a new zombie movie.

After the walk a Zombie Ball will take place at PURE nightclub in the Printworks with special drinks, live music and a Glastonbury DJ.

And if it rains, well, they're heading to the pub. That's the undead for ya.
