Arena date for dry and wry Hall

MIDDLETON MAN: Hall

DEADPAN American comic Rich Hall will hit the stage at the new Middleton Arena during his forthcoming British tour.

The star of BBC shows QI and Live at the Apollo, pictured, will perform at the arena on September 18.

Rich, who won the Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Festival in 2000, received rave reviews in his recent run at the Melbourne Comedy Festival.

He is a regular on TV panel shows including Have I Got News for You and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
