Kitsune Maison 7 minimix (with added Delphic)

HOTLY-TIPPED local lot Delphic have made their way onto the latest Kitsune Maison minimix, released in anticipation of the famed hipster compilation’s seventh coming on June 9.

A new version of their track Counterpoint (the one that sounds like Bloc Party, New Order and the Chemical Brothers playfighting in a field) features on the mix by London-based production duo JBAG.

Other artists lined up for Kitsune Maison 7 include La Roux, Autokratz and Phoenix, whose A++ comeback Lisztomania also appears in reswizzled form.

Since its the series’ seventh outing, Kitsune have said that one lucky (LUCKY NUMBER SEVEN, DO YOU SEE?) fan will win a year’s worth of free music from them, bagging every last bit of remix, comp and artist goodness that comes out of the French label over the next 12 months.

There’s no word yet as to how the winner will be chosen or identified – perhaps a Charlie And The Chocolate Factory-style golden ticket system will be employed, or maybe they’ll just hold a really big Paper, Scissors, Stone tournament – but whoever it is sure to receive 365 days’ worth of amazing records and possibly some by Fischerspooner.
