FOR silly hats and Neil Young, head to Glastonbury - otherwise, Citylife recommends you save your pennies for a ticket to dance mecca Creamfields.

It's the biggest and best dance festival of the summer (OK, we're biased) and the line-up just got bigger. 

International DJ superstar Eddie Halliwell plans to showcase his new performance concept ED-IT at this year's festival.

ED-IT combines technical wizardry and customised special effects for a show making its UK festival debut this Bank Holiday. 

Other acts scheduled to perform include Friendly Fires, Dirty Vegas, Mylo and hipster DJ Erol Alkan.

Creamfields takes place in Dalton, Cheshire over the August Bank Holiday weekend (29-30). Tickets are on sale now at www.creamfields.com
