Take That's Gary rules out Robbie reunion
ROBBIE Williams will not be rejoining Take That, Gary Barlow has said.
At the end of last month a national newspaper quoted Williams as saying a reunion was “looking more likely by the week”.
But speaking during the recording of Chris Moyles’ Quiz Night, Barlow said: “People constantly ask if Robbie will rejoin us but nothing has changed.
“We’re a happy band right now. Robbie won’t be joining.”
Williams has himself denied ever talking to the newspaper about a reunion.
He wrote on his blog: “The boys have their thing going on and so do I...”
The 35-year-old walked out on the group in 1995 and the band split a year later.
Barlow and band members Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Owen launched a successful comeback in 2006 after the release of Patience, which went to number one.
The quartet will play five dates here this summer.
