AFTER the huge success enjoyed by the Not Part Of festival in July 2008, the official Manchester International Festival fringe is back for its third year and looking for budding performers and artistic talents to take part.

Not Part Of is a totally inclusive celebration of the arts that will run across a number of venues throughout the duration of the Manchester International Festival in July 2009.

Running from July 2-18, it aims to offer an alternative festival, in which the undiscovered creativity and artistic talents of people in an around Manchester can be enjoyed.

So if you’re a comedian, dancer, poet, artist, director, street theatre act or musician, Not Part Of wants to hear from you. This is a perfect way for untapped talent to be showcased and get noticed.

Creative talent

Organisers Gareth and Beth McCann are also looking for volunteers to join the small hard working team that supports the acts during the non-profitmaking festival.

There are currently opportunities to gain work experience as an events, marketing, technical or business development assistant.
