MIF: Haslam's Manchester showcase

WRITER and DJ Dave Haslam is organising a series of events for Manchester International Festival named True Faith: A Celebration Of Manchester-Made Talent, designed to showcase the best of the city.

Haslam will hold discussions with Elbow's Guy Garvey; actor and comedian John Thompson; and writers Jackie Kay and Lemn Sissay - and there will also be gigs from new music acts including Karima Francis and Delphic.
