Magical start for new restaurant
WIGAN centre was brought to a standstill by a dragon on Sunday when the town’s newest restaurant held a traditional opening ceremony.
Drummers and firecrackers also heralded the opening of The Chinese Buffet, in the town’s Standishgate, which is the sister restaurant to the original Chinese Buffet on Bolton’s Bridge Street.
The bright and modern, all-you-can-eat restaurant, with seating for up to 400, is open seven days a week and customers can watch the chefs at work in the open kitchen. There is also a private function room.
The restaurant promises up to 80 dishes will be on offer at any one time for a set price which varies throughout the week, ranging from £5.90 for lunch from Monday to Thursday. Children aged between three and eight pay a reduced price.
To book, ring 0845 432 111, email service@thechinesebuffet.com, or log on to thechinesebuffet.com.
