McIntyre makes it a triple at the Arena

IRASCIBLE stand-up Michael McIntyre will cap an incredible 12 months when he makes the hefty step up to the arenas this autumn with an impressive three shows here.

The engaging London comic, who was last here to record an episode of his BBC series Comedy Roadshow, will follow in such scene giants as Peter Kay, Lee Evans, Bill Bailey and Steve Coogan by playing the M.E.N. Arena on October 20, 21 and now November 11.

An acclaimed sellout run at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe festival coupled with numerous winning TV appearances on the likes of Live At The Apollo, 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Mock The Week have combined to make McIntyre a household name, with his Live & Laughing DVD topping many a Christmas wish list in 2008 – selling nearly 600,000 copies to date.
