FLAMBOYANT: The Pride Parade

IT may still be four months away but the preparations are well and truly underway for Manchester Pride 2009, and the organisers have now confirmed details for the traditional grand finale - the Big Weekend.

Tickets for the four-day bonanza spread across the August Bank Holiday weekend will go on sale on May 1 and in these credit crunching times it pays to be prepared, so until July 1 you can get your pass to one of the summer's best parties for only £12.50 plus booking fee.

And for those of you more flush, don't forget that VIP Big Weekend tickets are already on sale if you fancy giving yourself that extra special treatment over the summer!
