THE Antiques Dealers Fair is bringing one of its Luxury Antique Weekends to Wigan between Friday January 23 and Sunday January 25 - and a two-for-one ticket offer is available to all readers of CityLife and the Manchester Evening News.

The event will be held in the Lakeside Suite of the Macdonald Kilhey Court Hotel in Standish; and with a maximum of 24 exhibitors, making it very exclusive.

Items on sale will include oil and watercolour paintings, town and country furniture, clocks, jewellery, sculpture, ceramics, glass, oriental carpets, maps and prints.

All specialist dealers scheduled to attend are members of either The British Antiques Dealers' Association (www.bada.org) or the Association Of Art And Antiques Dealers (www.lapada.org).

Star exhibitors include Melody Antiques, with a 19th-century ash cabinet by George Bullock; Carlton Clocks; Angela Hone Watercolours, with A Venetian Piazza by Noel Harry Leaver; and Nicholas Shaw Antiques, with many items of silver.
