Eagles of Death Metal prepare landing

BACK IN PLAY: Josh Homme

FRESH from lending his hard rocking expertise to the sessions for album number three in the Arctic Monkeys’ cannon at Joshua Tree recently, Josh Homme’s Eagles of Death Metal will swoop back into town this weekend.

The Queens Of The Stone Age main man formed EODM with high school pal Jesse Hughes in 1998 and they’ll release their third long-player, Heart On, on January 26.

The duo will craftily kick off promotions for the record with a ladies only launch in London at the end of the month, before arriving in Manchester as part of a nine-date tour of the UK and Ireland on April 4.

Featuring a host of collaborations including Distillers’ Kerrang! siren Brody Dalle, the follow up to Death By Sexy will be preceded by a single, Wanna Be In LA.
