DOUBLE HIGHLIGHT: The Courteeners

The Courteeners @ Academy 1 - Riotous night where both those on stage and those in the audience shared something very special.
 
The Courteeners @ Apollo - Refreshing to see the band in awe of the venue they were performing in - showed a slight nick in their usual bravado. 
 
The Script @ Academy 1 - Good show from the Irish lads but it was the support act Bryn Christopher who I went for and who really impressed.
 
Starsailor @ Hard Rock Café - Intimate gig that proved the Leigh lads have still got it, even if they've been a bit quiet of late.
 
Ocean Colour Scene @ Hard Rock Café - Drunken shenanigans threatened to overshadow the set, but a finale, complete with stage invasion, saved it.
