LYNYRD SKYNYRD’S line-up has been through enough different members, marriages and deaths to constitute a small community rather than a rock and roll band.

That their still touring is a wonder in itself, but with classics such as ‘Freebird’ and ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ in their arsenal, their live show is sure to pack a punch.

The current formation, which does include founding members, Johnny Van Zant and expert guitar noodler, Gary Rossington, will be rolling into Manchester on May 30 as part of their European tour.
