Vanilla to celebrate 10 years in style

A STALWART of the Village scene, Vanilla will celebrate 10 years as the self-styled 'UK's leading lesbian bar' on December 11.

Owner Steph Kay launched the award-winning Richmond Street nightspot in 1998, and is a keen mover on the Village scene.

Vanilla plans to mark the milestone in style too, promising to give away 1,000 free drinks during the evening and is also issuing a commemorative CD - Vanilla 10 Years at the Top! - too.

And if all the free booze isn't enough, bar prices will be frozen at 1998 prices, while DJs Riv, Murray and Furey will provide the tunes until 3am.
