FLAMBOYANT: Quidam FLAMBOYANT: Quidam

SMASH hit circus show Cirque du Soleil is bringing a new spectacle to Manchester.

Quidam - never before staged in Britain - will run at the M.E.N. Arena from March 25-27. It will feature 50 performers from 14 countries, with acrobatics, high-flying aerial acts, contortionists, clowns and rope jumpers.

Cirque du Soleil was founded in Quebec, Canada, in the early 1980s and its productions have since become world famous.

Cirque du Soleil's last M.E.N. Arena show, Delirium, was a sell-out success last October.

Tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am, priced £50. Call 0844 576 5483 for information.

"Quidam - never before staged in Britain " Wrong! I saw it at the Trafford Centre about five years ago and it was absolutely amazing. I can highly recommend it. It might seem a bit expensive but, believe me, it's worth it. I'll be going again.

I saw this show in Vegas - highly spectacular with the usual trademark macabre themes. Not as visually wowing as 'O' at The Bellagio, but certainly worth catching here.

If this is as good as Cirque du Soleil's previous shows then we are in for a treat!
