Cole's on song

CROONER Cole Page pulled off another celebrity hijack when he persuaded TV presenters Ant & Dec up to sing at a charity golf day.

The Geordie duo had been playing a round at the special celebrity golf day and dinner in aid of youth charities in the Durham area when Cole pounced.

Manchester's Cole was star singing turn as the celebrities - including ex-United footballer Lee Sharpe, Corrie star Alan Halsall and actor Tim Healy sat down to enjoy their dinner.

"I knew they would be game for a laugh so I just introduced them as guest singers and up they came to join in," Cole tells me.

"They were great fun and we all sang the Nat King Cole song `Let There Be Love' together. It brought the house down." Cole will be joined by more celebrity friends at his live spectacular at the Opera House in Manchester on Friday, June 6.

The show features guests including Rowetta, Key 103's Mike Toolan & Hugh Ferris, Tupele Dorgu - Corrie's Kelly Crabtree - plus Carley Stenson - Steph from Hollyoaks and Scott Wright, Corrie's former stripper Sam.
