Granny Must Die @ 24:7 Theatre Festival
IAN Townsend's enormously entertaining comedy opens with Granny (Carla Stokes) selling her soul to the Devil in return for eternal life.
Subsequently, her foul-mouthed insults and appalling behaviour means that every encounter with the hellish old bag feels like an eternity for her luckless family members.
But, try as they might, they can't kill her even as a succession of agreeably absurd characters, ranging from a pathetic policeman and a nymphomaniac nurse to a ruthless reporter and an unlikely undertaker, troop through their house.
Frenetic, farcical and in splendidly poor taste - so what's not to like?
Granny Must Die is on at Blue until Saturday, July 26. Click here for more information.
