Daisies @ 24:7 Theatre Festival

LUCY - rather nervous and much given to verbal spouting - seems a nice girl, though very free with her sexual favours.

We get rather too much information about the seduction that led to an abortion but then something even more radical and disturbing has since happened to poor Lucy.

Audiences are requested not to reveal the plot twists but I can say that Lucy finds herself in a certain place with another girl, whose gory story of sadistic sex makes this a definite adults-only experience and then preferably not on a full stomach.

Alistair McDowall directs his own script with economical flair and Lisa Gill and Beattie Edmondson wade in with enthusiasm and conviction.
