Fully House Trained @ 24:7 Theatre Festival

PACKING 14 comedy sketches and four risqué (not to say filthy) TV commercials into an hour, writers Peter Collins, Neil A Edwards and Graeme Flynn have a go at a range of targets, from the TV agony aunt who needs serious help herself to a GCSE course on computer hacking and covering porn site tracks.

The six versatile performers - Valerie Bundy, Scarlett Mack, Reg Edwards, Jane Leffman, Shaun McGowan and Neil Scullard, pacily directed by Aoibheann Kelly, deliver the quick-change menu with verve.

Inevitably, not all the sketches, punctuated with video projection, work, but there are plenty of laughs.

I particularly like the one where a Scouse yob is interviewed for the job of British Prime Minister - and makes the short list.

Fully House Trained is at PURE:Funktion until Sunday, July 27. Click here for more information.
