24:7 After The Blood Rush @ Palace Theatre Stalls Bar

PERHAPS the title might have been éall those lonely peopleé, as writer/director Conor McKee takes us by means of three short plays sketches almost, through a series of sad relationships.

He starts with éDays Beforeé, where a young coupleés mundane routine is disrupted by the arrival of the girlés flashy ex-boyfriend.

We then move, to a bar scene, éEvenings Lateré, where three men reflect, monologue-style, on their unfulfilled lives.

Finally comes éMorning Suné, where another group of characters, lost lonely and angry, reveal their sad existence.

There is a good nine-strong cast and McKeeés plays hold the attention.

After The Blood Rush is in the Palace Theatre Stalls Bar again tonight (July 28) and on Sunday, July 30. The 24:7 Festival run until then. For more information call 0161 236 7110 or click here .
