Last Chance

Showings of film and an exhibition of photography which responds to televised sport. With the Commonwealth Games looming, and the dubious sounding 'eyes of the world upon us', it seems a smart choice to host a show of work which picks up on the thrills 'n' spills of 'the spectacle', ie. social, public events. Of course, the Romans, and later the French, had perfected 'the spectacle' - each in their inimitable ways. Still, neither empire had TV, nor its multiple camera angles, pundits and stats ... and this show grapples with some technology too. Work by Tracey Moffat, Julie Henry, Mark Lewis, Roderick Buchanan, Ravi Deepres.

Spectator sport is at Cornerhouse until Sunday, June 23.
