PICKING up where the successful BBC1 detective series left off, Life On Mars (now open at Stockport Art Gallery) includes 30 huge canvasses from the detective series.

The exhibition (above) also documents the making of the award-winning programme by examining the importance of the the region's creative industries.

Until November 1. Free.
