UNDOUBTEDLY capturing the spirit of the holiday destination lauded my millions, Café Mambo 07 is a rich (if not laid back) melting pot of mixes by Pete Gooding and Steve Miller that offers a signature to the Mambo club - San Antonio's beacon for Balearic that embodies chilled and eclectic genres.

The whole offering is Balearic through and through - Gooding and Miller ensure this is not about beats per minute or flawless mixing but a well compiled and flowing statement of sizzling summer grooves- built on atmosphere and mood, Mambo certainly delivers on both counts.

Trio Mocoto's Nao Adianta is the sort of tune that exemplifies the double disc set - laid back Latin grooves with a sexy summer feel - a tune that has been featured for many years by Gooding at Café Mambo in Ibiza.

Guem and Zackas Le Serpent again, shows the mood with a percussive groove that gets right under the skin.
