Enjoy a day celebrating the best of Brass at The Bridgewater Hall

Enjoy a day celebrating the best of Brass at The Bridgewater Hall on Saturday 10 September. The Great Northern Brass Arts Festival features some of the country’s finest brass bands, culminating in a Gala Evening Concert by the Black Dyke Band, Brighouse and Rastrick Band and Fodens Band.

The day starts at 12 noon with the Leyland Band, one of the world's most famous brass bands. Next up at 2.15pm is The National Children's Brass Band of Great Britain, featuring the finest young brass players in the country.
At 4.15 enjoy The Fairey (Geneva) Band in a tribute to the music of Goff Richards. The glittering Gala Evening Concert at 7.15pm showcases three legendary brass bands: Black Dyke, Fodens and Brighouse, playing music by Kabalevsky, Liszt and Mendelssohn.
