Madness
Nutty eighties pop from London fronted by the irrepressible Suggs. The band formed in Camden Town in 1976 and have established themselves as chart favourites in Britain for over three decades.

CityLife review
A FESTIVE audience with the ultimate singles band should be a recipe for success, but Madness's show at Manchester Central was a bit of a Christmas turkey.moreDetails

I agree with Dan, there was far too much of the new stuff used as filler for the hits, surely a week before Xmas Suggs & co could tell that everyone in attendance was up for a dance to the oldies, did the drunken throngs in fez's not give it away?
Saying that, when they did roll out the classics, it was worth waiting for... Wings of A Dove, It Must Be Love, Our House... still up there with the anthems.
Shame about the hour long Bollywood inspired interlude!
